After our Annual PPAACC Business meeting and Executive Board meeting, here are the changes for the 2012 PPAACC season:


By-Laws-   2011 By-Law Proposal Results


Rules- Elementary/Jr. High Percussion timing:  Minimum show time is now 2 minutes with a maximum of 5 minutes, and an interval time of 8 minutes.


Procedures-

-Ticket prices for regular season shows will be $6 for adults, $4 for students/seniors, under 5 free.

-Finals prices are $9 for adults, $7 for students/seniors, under 5 free.

-PPAACC will hold a post season general membership meeting on Sunday, May 20.  Time and location, TBA.


CHEER

-Cheer check-in procedure has been changed.  Independent Cheer instructors/directors will bring a roster to the check-in table and will receive a wrist band for each performer listed on the roster.  Wrist bands may only be used for performers.  The number of performers checked in must match the number of performers on the performance floor. 

-Cheer divisions and levels will be listed on the entry form as level 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.

-PPAACC will add an “Open” division for Cheer, ages 12 and up.

- All Independent Cheer groups must submit to PPAACC, a certificate of insurance that lists PPAACC and the Kern High School District as additionally insured by January 31, 2012.  The minimum coverage is $10,000 Accidental and $1,000,000 General Liability.


DANCE

- All Independent Dance groups must submit to PPAACC, a certificate of insurance that lists PPAACC and the Kern High School District as additionally insured by January 31, 2012.  The minimum coverage is $10,000 Accidental and $1,000,000 General Liability.


PERCUSSION/COLORGUARD

-PPAACC will once again switch the performance order for percussion and colorguard for shows      2 and 5. (Centennial and Liberty shows)

-Awards for Jr. Percussion will take place, in the gym, immediately following the High School A Division.

-PPAACC will keep a log of all penalties given during the season.

-A secondary interval stopwatch will be used for all percussion and colorguard units.
